Is your neck stiff after a long day?

Some gentle stretching can provide relief while improving flexibility and range of motion.

Try this quick stretch focusing on your neck’s lateral muscles.

1) While sitting up straight and facing forward, slowly bring your left ear to your left shoulder. Make sure your shoulders and back are stable.

2) Hold the stretch for up to 10 seconds (however long it’s comfortable)

3) Bring your head up straight to a neutral position.

4) Do the same stretch on the right side. Make sure to pace, yourself. Go slow and don’t strain yourself. Depending on your comfort, you can do 1-3 reps of these stretches per day.
